Mandatory Professional Decisions

In Article 47 of the TOBB Transactions Regulation titled "Mandatory Professional Decisions";

"Chambers can make professional decisions on all matters they deem necessary, especially to protect professional discipline, ethics, and solidarity, facilitate professional activities, ensure the development of the profession in line with general interests, and achieve the goals of the chamber, particularly on issues such as the adulteration of materials and products, knowingly delivering incomplete goods, quality defects, unfair competition, infringement of intellectual and industrial property, non-compliance with measurement and weighing systems, and any actions, attempts, and practices aimed at harming third parties in commercial and industrial activities, and similar situations."

Members are obliged to comply with professional decisions. Actions are taken against those who do not comply with these decisions according to the provisions of the Regulation on Disciplinary and Monetary Penalties to be Imposed on Chamber and Commodity Exchange Members and the Disciplinary Board and High Disciplinary Board.
