Digital Tachograph Card

Tachograph Device: It is a recording device designed to be installed in vehicles engaged in road transport to automatically or semi-automatically display and record the movements of road vehicles and the details of certain working hours of their drivers.

According to Article 13 of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) "European Agreement concerning the Work of Crews of Vehicles engaged in International Road Transport (AETR)", while it was mandatory only for companies engaged in international freight and passenger transport until the end of 2013, as of 2014, it has become mandatory for drivers of vehicles registered commercially for domestic freight transport with a maximum loaded weight of over 3,500 kg and for drivers of vehicles with a carrying capacity of nine or more, including the driver, engaged in passenger transport to have a digital tachograph card.

TACHOGRAPH DEVICE

-Monitors vehicle usage times.

-Monitors vehicle speed.

-Monitors vehicle usage within the limits specified by law.

-Stores the monitored records in its memory.

-Provides the records stored in its memory as graphical or written reports.

DRIVER CARD DEFINITION
A tachograph card issued to a specific driver. The driver card identifies the driver and is used to store the driver's activity data in memory.

COMPANY CARD DEFINITION
A tachograph card issued to vehicle owners or holders with a tachograph device installed.

It identifies the company and allows the viewing, downloading, and printing of data stored in the tachograph device locked by the company or not locked by any company.

SERVICE CARD DEFINITION

A tachograph card issued by the country's authorized institutions to a tachograph device manufacturer, a vehicle manufacturer, or a service and installer. The service card identifies the cardholder and allows the testing, calibration, and/or downloading of the tachograph device.

  

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR DRIVER CARD APPLICATION

• Bank receipt
• Original and photocopy of the driver's license
• Original and photocopy of your ID card
• Biometric photo (3.5 x 4.5 dimensions)

• Original and photocopy of the SRC Certificate

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR SERVICE CARD APPLICATION

• Original and photocopy of the Signature Circular (The original will be returned after verification.)
• Original and photocopy of the Power of Attorney (If the name of the service representative is not mentioned in the signature circular, a power of attorney is required.)
• Original Chamber Registration Certificate
• Photocopy of the Tax Certificate
• Photocopy of the Service Authorization Certificate obtained from the Ministry of Industry and Trade
• Receipt
• Original and photocopy of the ID card of the person signing the application
• Service Stamp

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR COMPANY CARD APPLICATION

• Original and photocopy of the Signature Circular (The original will be returned after verification.)
• Original and photocopy of the Power of Attorney (If the name of the company representative is not mentioned in the signature circular, a power of attorney is required.)
• Original Chamber Registration Certificate
• Photocopy of the Tax Certificate
• Photocopy of the Authorization Certificate obtained under the Road Transport Law No. 4925
• Receipt
• Original and photocopy of the ID card of the person signing the application
• Company Stamp

The company must first make a preliminary application online (https://staum.tobb.org.tr address). During the preliminary application, the company must make the payment for the tachograph card to Vakıfbank with the payment number given by the system to the account of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs, and Communications of the Republic of Turkey and apply to our Chamber with the above-mentioned documents according to the type of card.

Applications must be made in person for the driver card and by the company representative for the service card and company card. For card delivery, if the name and surname of a third person are written in the "delivery to a third person" section during the application, this third person can also receive the card.
