ACCREDITATION REGION COMPARISON WORKSHOP

The First Southeastern Anatolia Region Chamber/Exchange Accreditation Comparison Workshop was held in Diyarbakır by the Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange.

The Comparison Workshop held at the Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange was attended by Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ahmet Sayar, Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange (DTB) President Engin Yeşil, Kızıltepe Commodity Exchange President Mehmet Şahin, DTB Vice President Şeyhmus Ayhan, DTB Board Member Şükrü Boylu, and the Presidents, Vice Presidents, General Secretaries, and Accreditation Officers of the Chambers and Exchanges of Batman, Adıyaman, Mardin, Kızıltepe, Nusaybin, Nizip, Şanlıurfa, Siverek, Siirt, and Birecik. Representing our Chamber, General Secretary Şeyhmus İşcan and Accreditation Officers Doğan Demir and Mazhar Taşan attended.

In his opening speech at the Comparison Workshop, Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange President Engin Yeşil stated that the accreditation system carried out by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey contributes to the establishment and rise of quality awareness in chambers and exchanges and increases their prestige in the business world.

-SERVICE QUALITY TO MEMBERS WILL INCREASE-

DTB President Engin Yeşil stated that the accreditation system works bring chambers and exchanges closer together and increase the quality of service provided to members, adding, "The institutional capacity of chambers and exchanges is determined by such activities to be implemented."

-GOOD PRACTICES ARE SHARED-

Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ahmet Sayar stated that as chambers and exchanges, they are working to provide better quality services to their members, saying, "Within the framework of the workshop, we aim to compare our accreditation systems, address our shortcomings, and provide better quality services to our members. In this context, I believe the meeting will be productive for our region."

-250 CHAMBERS AND EXCHANGES ACCREDITED-

Turkey Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Accreditation Board Member and Kızıltepe Commodity Exchange President Mehmet Şahin stated that they embarked on this path with the aim of service profit, saying, "He stated that 250 out of 365 Chambers and Exchanges are accredited."

Şahin explained that the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, provides all kinds of support to chambers and exchanges regarding the accreditation system.

Following the speeches, Accreditation System Expert Mehmet Besleme shared his presentation prepared to raise the service quality of the Chambers and Exchanges in the Southeastern Anatolia Region with the participants.

It was also announced that the workshop, which will last for two days in Diyarbakır, will be held in the participating provinces in the future.
